Work has begun on ‘Transforming the Library’ – you may have noticed the scaffolding that has been erected at the far end of the building! – as the contractors prepare to strip Level 4 in readiness for the transformation next year. As such, from next week, visitors are forewarned that this work will involve some noise, so if it’s quiet-er study you’re looking for in the Library, Levels 1 & 2 are your best option!

Failing that, alternate study space and PC’s are also available in the following locations:

PC’s

  • Haslegrave Building (24-7 access throughout the vacation by swipe card).
  • Stuart Mason Building (managed by swipe card outside working hours. Only Postgrads are allowed in this building).
  • James France and U007.
  • Chemical Engineering (S006).
  • Design School Lab LDS003.

Friday 21st is the last working day on Campus so all the labs except Haslegrave will close in the early Evening and will re-open on the morning of the Thursday 3rd January.
