British Online Archives – trial

 BOA offers five collections of primary sources relating to British history that will support study and research in all areas of the humanities:

Colonial and Missionary Records

Documents in this collection include records made by the East India Company and the records of missionaries from the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel, c. 1650-1950, covering Colonial America, South America, Africa, Asia and Australasia.

British Records on the Atlantic World, 1700-1900

A collection of currently 13 titles focusing on Britain’s varying relationships with West Africa and the Americas.

Twentieth Century Political History

Labour Party papers (1968-1994), British Union of Fascists newspapers and secret files and anti-Fascist newsletters from the International Transport Workers’ Federation.

Communist Part of Great Britain Archive, 1920-1991

British Broadcasting Corporation Archive

Includes Annual Reports and listener research (c. 1937-1950)
