Funded Programme Leading to Trinity College London Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (Cert TESOL)

  • Unemployed or under-employed after graduation?
  • Taking a gap year?
  • Looking for an opportunity to help people?
  • Looking for a way to fund travel?

Languages Training & Development (LT&D) is one of the major providers of the Cert TESOL. This qualification, along with the CELTA, is recognised internationally for teachers of English.

LT&D has teamed up with its partner organisation, Eduwise Limited, in delivering the ‘Mutuality Project’ through the EU and Home Office.

You will assist the project by working with members of immigrant communities to help them to integrate into UK Society by:

  • Giving Language Support,
  • Supporting them in CV writing, researching vacancies etc.

In return for your volunteering, we will subsidise your achievement of the Cert TESOL and provide you with an intensive course to obtain it.

After only 5 full-on but very interesting weeks you could be in a position to:

  • Find employment with language schools in the UK,
  • Obtain employment across the world,
  • Even set yourself up as a freelance teacher.

All this for £195 as against the £1200 or so typically charged elsewhere!  (Free for those in receipt of jobseeker’s allowance).

Interested? Then, don’t hesitate. Places are limited and, due to changes in government funding from August 2013, those over 24 will need to add a bit more to their student loans to do the programme!
