European Patent Office opportunities

In 2013 the European Patent Office will recruit more than 200 engineers and scientists
to work as patent examiners

Our graduate engineers and scientists – drawn from over 30 different European countries – work at the cutting edge of technology, examining the latest inventions in every technical field in order to protect and to promote innovation in Europe.

If you have a degree in physics, chemistry, engineering or the natural sciences, a good working knowledge of at least two of the official languages (English, French and German) and the willingness to learn the third, you too could be part of our team of patent examiners in Munich, The Hague or Berlin.

We offer a competitive salary (4200-8000 EUR/ month net – depending on experience) as well as various benefits and allowances.
