Westminster, 13 &#8211; 14th July"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This two-day conference will be the ninth in a series initiated\u00a0by MORI founder\u00a0Robert Worcester who helped\u00a0organize\u00a0the first event of its kind to reflect on the momentous General Election of 1979.\u00a0 Since then the Political Studies Association\u2019s Elections Public Opinion and Parties Group has continued to bring together representatives from the party, media and polling organisations in order to share their reflections and experiences following each subsequent campaign.\u00a0 This event continues the series and will feature contributions from leading and practitioners on all aspects of the election.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.lboro.ac.uk\/general-election\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2015\/04\/general-election-conference.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[497]\"><br \/>\n<\/a>The Political Studies Association\u2019s Parties, Public Opinion and Parties Group Conference on the General Election organised by Ipsos MORI and Loughborough University Communication Research Centre.<\/h2>\n<h4>Emmanuel Centre, Westminster 13-14th July<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Day One:<\/strong>\u00a0 Parties and Media.\u00a0 Sessions will explore and discuss the campaign strategies and tactics as well as news coverage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day Two:<\/strong>\u00a0 Voters.\u00a0 Sessions will explore public awareness and understandings of the issues and personalities as well as the challenge of communicating with the electorate in an increasingly digital era.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/store.lboro.ac.uk\/browse\/product.asp?compid=1&amp;modid=2&amp;catid=115\">&gt;&gt;
