Casper Suite unavailable due to Maintenance on Monday 15th December 9AM – 1PM
Upgrade to Casper Suite v9.62
What is happening
IT Services need to upgrade our current version of the Casper Suite to the latest version. The upgrade will add support for OSX Yosemite ahead of the beginning of the 2015 Labs project, as well as bug and security fixes.
How will the works affect me?
The Casper Suite will be unavailable whilst this work is carried out. It will therefore not be possible to image the Mac OS on Multi-Boot iMac Lab Macs or use the Self Service app on the MBiL Service. There may also be brief periods (<2 minutes) where users logging into the Mac OS may not get their personal workspace mapped automatically whilst the Casper server reboots.
The Windows 7 Service partition of MBiL computers will be unaffected by this maintenance.
The Casper server will be unavailable from 09:00 on Monday 15th December. We anticipate the work to be completed by 13:00.
