PC Base Staff temporarily using Multicast image
Please be aware that the PC Base Staff Task Sequence is currently using multicast deployment for the base image. This is a temporary measure to allow us to prepare labs for Clearing & Confirmation. We will advise when this change is reversed.
Task sequence issues – resolved
The issues with SCCM have righted themselves over the weekend so it’s OK to start imaging again.
As always please put a service desk call on if you have any further issues.
Task Sequence Issues Further Update
Unfortunately we have not been able to fix the issue with certain packages not distributing in SCCM. However, we have managed to work around the issue.
You should now be able to use the following task sequences again.
- PC Labs Base
- PC Labs Plus 2016
- PC Labs Plus 2016 (London)
- PC Staff Base
However, if you are imaging an HP Elitebook 8560p please wait until a complete solution is found.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
Task Sequence Issues Update
We are continuing to look into the current problems with Task Sequences. The issues are related to certain packages in the PC Task Sequences not distributing, which is why they appear to be unavailable to client PCs.
To clarify, the following live Task Sequences are affected:
PC Labs Base
PC Labs Plus 2016
PC Labs Plus 2016 (London)
PC Staff Base
We will let you know once the issue is resolved.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
