The updates to the PC Staff Base and PC Labs Plus Task Sequences have now been completed.

Unfortunately, the updated task sequences require new Task Sequence Media. The necessary files are available in \\ws2\desktopresource\Windows\W7\common\TaskSequenceMedia and the instructions for creating new task sequence media on a USB stick or CD are found in \\ws2\desktopresource\Windows\W7\common\Procedures\Installing the Windows 7 Service (Staff and Labs).docx.

The Aug16 media should be used on all laptops and desktops except the HP Elitebook 2170p and Folio 9479 which still require the May15 media.

On Friday 26th August between 8:30am and 10am the PC Staff Base and PC Labs Plus Task Sequences will be updated. Viglen have started shipping Intel NUCs with a new type of Solid State disk which plugs into the PCI Express interface. This requires new drivers to be included in these task sequences.

Please do not use the PC Staff Base or PC Labs Plus Task Sequences while the update is being carried out.
