Task Sequence Issues Update

We are continuing to look into the current problems with Task Sequences. The issues are related to certain packages in the PC Task Sequences not distributing, which is why they appear to be unavailable to client PCs.

To clarify, the following live Task Sequences are affected:

PC Labs Base

PC Labs Plus 2016

PC Labs Plus 2016 (London)

PC Staff Base

We will let you know once the issue is resolved.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

PC Labs Plus image temporarily unavailable

Unfortunately the Labs Plus image, which was updated on distribution points last night to resolve an issue with one of the distribution points, is temporarily unavailable. This is due to the update failing.

It is being re-updated now and we expect it to be available again in the next couple of hours. We will let you know when it is ready.

Other images are not affected.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

Task Sequence failures due to missing drivers

We are currently experiencing Task Sequence failures due to missing driver packages. So far we have discovered this issue affects the packages for the Viglen Desktop DQ57s (last Viglens before we went to HP) and the HP 800 G1 desktops, however there may be more affected.

As the drivers for all of our models are in every PC Task Sequence, this will affect all PC Base and Labs Plus Task Sequences. We believe that Mac Task Sequences are not affected.

We will advise when the Task Sequences are working again.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

UPDATE – Casper Suite unavailable Monday 18/04/16 for updates

Unfortunately the automated backup of the Casper server failed meaning we have had to take a fresh manual backup. This is underway but will take a couple of hours. As a result our original update schedule has had to be delayed until later today.

Please therefore consider the Casper Suite unavailable for the entire day, rather than just this morning. If you have any urgent need to use Casper today, please let us know.

Apologies for any inconvenience.
