When did the LSU Harry Potter & Quidditch Society start?<\/em><\/h4>\nThe society was set up in 2012 by Josie Burn and Tomris Fidan.<\/p>\n
What have been some of your most memorable events from this last year?
\n<\/em><\/h4>\nIn December 2014 we held our annual Yule Ball which raised over \u00a3150 for the Harry Potter Alliance charity.<\/p>\n
We have also had a really successful Quidditch season, winning the East Midlands and L Tournaments at the beginning of the term. From this, we went on to win 4th place at the British Quidditch Cup and 13th at the 2015\u00a0European Quidditch Cup<\/p>\n

What are your plans for the future?<\/em><\/h4>\nWe hope to be more involved with RAG<\/a> and Action<\/a> and also plan to have combined socials with other societies. We will be hosting another Yule Ball.<\/p>\nWhat would you say to someone thinking about joining the LSU Harry Potter & Quidditch Society?<\/em><\/h4>\nWe’re a society that wants to make sure everyone who comes to any of our events enjoys themselves and meets other Harry Potter and Quidditch enthusiasts.<\/p>\n
Finally, what\u2019s one thing you want us to know about you, the LSU Harry Potter & Quidditch Society?<\/em><\/h4>\nWe’re a close-knit society that meets regularly; we have weekly Harry Potter themed socials and twice weekly Quidditch training for anyone to get involved in.
