That\u00a0said, it\u2019s natural to be daunted by the first few days.<!--more--> The best thing to remember is that everybody here is in the same boat \u2013 so jump in!<\/p>\n<h3>Introduce yourself to your new flatmates<\/h3>\n<p>You\u2019ll be living with your new flatmates for a whole year (probably longer if you like them!) so it\u2019s important to make the effort and get to know them. This gives you an amazing insight into what exciting events are planned for you and also what <a href=\"http:\/\/loughboroughsport.com\/athletic-union\/au-clubs\/\">clubs<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lsu.co.uk\/getinvolved\/societies\/socslist\/\">societies<\/a> are available for you to join.<\/p>\n<p>Take this fantastic opportunity to pursue an interest, to try something you\u2019ve never tried before and push yourself outside of your comfort zone. Be brave and take a chance. We get it. You\u2019re out of your comfort zone \u2013 but come on! This is a fantastic opportunity to strike up a conversation and learn about the people who have chosen to study the same course as you.<\/p>\n<p>So, rather than being afraid to look like a fool, dive in and spark a conversation.
