Hi guys, hope your exams are going well and the exam tips from me and the other bloggers have provided some valuable insights for your A-levels preparation. I am still battling through the final bits of my exam and still got one more to go. In this blog, I will review on my Loughborough experiences and give an overview about my future.<\/p>\n

To be very honest, I did not even know where Loughborough was when I attained the conditional offer from the university. For a Hong Kong student, Loughborough sounded distant to me and it felt mysterious. After these 4 years of Loughborough experience, I can proudly say that I have made the right call to come here.<\/p>\n

Located in the heart of England<\/a>, Loughborough gave me the idyllic environment for good vibes of being safe and socially active. When I joined Loughborough, I was curious about everything around the campus. Yet I was very nervous living in a new environment using my second language. Luckily, I was very grateful that the people in the university are very nice and friendly.<\/p>\n

I was glad to spent two years in Towers hall<\/a> and I met loads of friends there and participating in clubs and societies<\/a>. Like any other students, I had peaks and troughs in the university life where I sometimes felt lost in what I want to achieve, sometimes feeling alone and sometimes not performing good enough. When I look back, my Loughborough experience was a fruitful one all in all. My vision, social and academic skills have bolstered to the next level in these four years in Loughborough.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

From the above photo, changes were significant in terms of my physique and expressions. I became stronger and looked a lot more British with my hands holding pint glasses (and a beer belly :P) . Still, I looked young albeit becoming more mature gradually. I still have the same smile but its implication changed from a curiosity and energetic one to a natural and confident one. Whilst it is good to look back and reflect on my life, however, time has passed and it’s irreversible. Every decisions, challenges and experiences are left as dust and lessons learnt and it is more important to live in present and set sights for the future.<\/p>\n

Talking about the future, it was a pretty challenging question for me to answer four years ago as I did not have any concrete dreams or aspirations about my life. The only thing in my mind was following other\u2019s footsteps and have a stable or somewhat dull life. I knew that I did quite well in every aspect but not excellent and my strengths and weaknesses were not significant as well. After 4 years, I have a clear answer for my future and I must be very grateful to have a safe and personal environment that I could constantly take a step back and reflect on what I truly want to do and achieve.<\/p>\n

My experiences of AIESEC and GSK gave me a platform to display that I am capable in managing social and professional situations. I have equipped with a strong self-belief and confidence with getting through all challenges. In future, I have set my sights in pursuing expertise in the fields of aviation or transportation with demonstrating my quantitative skills. \u00a0Apart from career goals, sometimes I joked to others that I would have my own entry on Wikipedia. However, I do take it seriously although my action plan has not unveiled yet.<\/p>\n

With my aspirations for the future, I still maintain level-headed and acknowledge that life and happens. My route might divert from my original plan but with my faith and belief, I remain optimistic in reaching the promised land without too much stress and control as I have learnt that I must let loose and step out of comfort zone in order to gain more and achieve greatness.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
