A Christmas memo from us!
The Christmas holidays are upon us, and many of our students have left Loughborough and headed home for 3 weeks of rest, relaxation, and perhaps even some revision! Over the course of this Christmas holiday the university winds down and there are a number of changes to opening times and processes across campus.
Below, we’ve outlines a few dates and times that you should be mindful of, particularly those of you who are staying on campus during the Christmas period.
University closure dates
Although term finished on 11th December, and many students went home for the Christmas break, the University itself continues to run, with most members of staff still coming in to work.
However, between Thursday 24th December 2015 and Friday 1st January 2016 inclusive, the University closes completely for a shorter Christmas break. This means that many buildings which were still open will be locked, and students will not be able to gain access.
Students who are remaining on campus in catered halls should also be mindful that there is no meal service when the University is closed during this period.
Students who remain in Loughborough during this time, and are intending to computer lab facilities should click here for information on opening times; those wishing to use the library should take note of opening times during this period outlined below.
