Doctoral Researchers: Get ready for the Postgraduate Research Experience Survey
The University wants to make sure postgraduate research students have the best possible experience while studying at Loughborough. To do this, we need to know what you think works well and what we could be doing better.
The Postgraduate Research Experience Survey is the only national survey for Doctoral Researchers and runs every two years.
Your feedback is really important to us, as no one knows the experience better than you.
It not only helps us improve the Loughborough experience but can help us to compare how we are doing with other institutions and to make changes that will improve your experience in the future.
Some of the changes that were made from the last survey include:
- A Wellbeing Action Plan, created to identify strategic and operational goals to enhance Doctoral Researcher support and support for supervisors, Directors of Doctoral Programmes, Research Administrators and those working in Student Services
- A new suite of media training resources, created by the PR team, to support Doctoral Researchers in raising their profile with external audiences
- Continued promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion in our research and researcher communities through showcase events that included a focus on disability, BAME experiences and gender
The survey opens today (Monday 19 April) and will run until Monday 17 May. Eligible Doctoral Researchers will receive an email today from studentsurveys@lboro.ac.uk with a link to complete the survey.
It takes around 15 minutes to complete, your feedback is confidential to the Doctoral College, and any reporting will be anonymous.
If you would like to know more about the survey, please visit the dedicated webpage or contact studentsurveys@lboro.ac.uk.
