Dr Aidan McGarry to speak at International Literature Festival Utrecht
On the 19th September, Dr Aidan McGarry (Institute for Diplomacy and International Governance) will be speaking at the International Literature Festival Utrecht.
‘Heroes and villains’ is the theme of the first edition of the Humanities Night: an event during the International Utrecht Literature Festival in which literature, philosophy and science go hand in hand.
Dr Aidan McGarry has been asked to be the opening act for Salman Rushdie, who is the guest of honour for the evening. With the theme of Heroes and Villains, Aidan will talk about political voice and democracy. The evening will close with a pub quiz and music.
