Finding accommodation in London can be challenging! To support your search, our London Student Services team has compiled a list of providers offering a range of options across the city, including student, family-friendly, and short-term accommodation. 

Please note that the University has no affiliation with any of the accommodation providers listed below.

These providers operate independently of the University, and students are strongly encouraged to carry out thorough research and carefully review all terms and conditions before entering into any rental agreement.  

Private student accommodation options 

The options listed below are privately owned student accommodations. These platforms operate entirely independently of the University, so it is essential that students carry out thorough research before committing to any rental agreements. 

• Urbanest – Urbanest operates purpose-built student accommodation across several London locations. Properties typically offer furnished rooms, study spaces, social areas and all-inclusive utility bills. 

• Venti House, Stratford – Located in Stratford, East London, Venti House provides modern student accommodation with convenient transport links to central London and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. 

• Scape – Scape offers premium student accommodation in a number of London neighbourhoods, with a focus on community spaces, study facilities and student wellbeing. 

• Chapter London Bridge – Situated close to London Bridge, this residence provides accommodation in a central location with easy access to many of London’s cultural, business and academic hubs. 

• Unite Students – One of the UK’s largest student accommodation providers, Unite Students operates residences across London offering a range of room types and facilities. 

• Yugo – Yugo manages student residences in London and internationally, providing accommodation designed specifically for students with communal and study spaces. 

• Goodenough College – Goodenough College provides accommodation primarily for postgraduate students and offers a strong international community in central London. 

• International Students House (ISH) Located near Regent’s Park, ISH provides accommodation and social opportunities for both UK and international students. 

• IQ – Provides a wide range of all-inclusive accommodation options with transport links and on-site communal spaces  

Accommodation for families 

The options listed below are student accommodation providers that provide options for students and their families.  

• Zebra Housing Association – Zebra Housing provides affordable housing options and may be suitable for students seeking accommodation for themselves and their families. 

• Nansen Village – Nansen Village offers accommodation specifically designed for students living with spouses, partners and children. 

• Goodenough College – Goodenough College offers selected accommodation options that may be suitable for students with partners or dependants. 

Short-stay accommodation 

You may want to look for short-stay housing if you’re arriving in London before the academic year starts or if need a place to stay over the summer term at the end of your studies.  

• YMCA Indian Student Hostel – Provides short and medium-term accommodation for students and visitors in London.  

• LHA London – Offers affordable hostel-style accommodation suitable for students requiring temporary housing. 

• Spotahome – An online platform that allows students to search for and book rooms, studios and apartments for both short and long-term stays in London.
