It provides students, researchers, and practitioners with the knowledge and skills to undertake qualitative research while deepening their understanding of how the social world can be perceived and interpreted through a particular theoretical lens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Meet the authors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Professor James Skinner<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lborolondon.ac.uk\/about\/staff\/james-skinner\/\">James Skinner<strong> <\/strong><\/a>is Associate Dean of Teaching and a Professor of Sport Business at Loughborough University London. James has published numerous books and journal articles on research methods and teaches research method courses to postgraduate students across the globe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.lboro.ac.uk\/london\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/28\/2021\/01\/Skinner-James-449x304.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3712\" width=\"449\" height=\"304\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dr Allan Edwards<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Allan<strong> <\/strong>Edwards has held numerous academic appointments within Australia and internationally. His most recent position before his retirement was as Reader in Sport Business at Loughborough University London.
