To add an item manually to your reading list you click on the Add New icon (top-left on toolbar). Then select the type of item (e.g. book, journal, etc.) and optionally where you want to insert it in the list (default is to append to the bottom) from the popup window that appears.
Then enter as much detail as you can on the item entry form that appears before clicking on the Save link (bottom-left on window).
- Top tip: If you know the ISBN or ISSN then entering this in the appropriate field followed by the TAB key will in most cases auto-populate the remainder of the form. If adding a journal article you can do the same thing by enter its DOI (Digital Object Identifier) in the appropriate field
