Rob talks about his research into <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lboro.ac.uk\/media\/wwwlboroacuk\/content\/library\/downloads\/researchsupport\/DataCaseStudy-Wilby-Quinn.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Flood indices for Britain (1881-2011)<\/a> and reasons for making the data public. These include benefits to the public, improving dissemination and uptake of research, and improved visibility which can lead to greater citation.<\/p>\n<p>Rob&#8217;s case study is available via the university Library&#8217;s <a title=\"University Library, Research Support\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lboro.ac.uk\/services\/library\/research\/\" target=\"_blank\">Research Support<\/a> web pages.
