Entitled\u00a0<em>The Maya: a living culture of the 21st century<\/em>, there are further details\u00a0regarding this project at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/inesvs\/the-maya-project-art-e-book\">http:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/inesvs\/the-maya-project-art-e-book<\/a>; for this initiative to work, the eBook project needs to\u00a0<b>raise \u00a315,000 before\u00a0February 10th, 2014.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Kickstarter\u00a0may be\u00a0a little new to people accessing this T&amp;L blog but, in addition to disseminating some funds through the <a title=\"Teaching Innovation Awards\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lboro.ac.uk\/services\/teachingcentre\/procedures-schemes\/teachingawards\/teachinginnovationawards\/\">Teaching Innovation Awards <\/a>scheme,\u00a0one of\u00a0our roles\u00a0in\u00a0theTeaching Centre is to provide\u00a0feedback to colleagues\u00a0who are looking for support in preparing bids for teaching-related funding.<\/p>\n<p>It will certainly be interesting to monitor the progress made in terms of funding this\u00a0particular project regarding the Maya, as this may well be something for other colleagues to consider when it comes to thinking about how to resource learning and teaching projects.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is not always easy to determine where R (Research), T (Teaching) and E (Enterprise) might\u00a0begin and end, indeed whether this post should be on the e@lboro blog!
