This has been purchased with the support of the University&#8217;s Distance Learning Fund through a CHEST agreement (which makes certain software packages much cheaper for Higher Education).<\/p>\n<p>Under this agreement, the 100-user licence will be available until the end of 2012.<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in being all0cated one of these licences, please contact either myself (c.f.g.shields @ lboro.ac.uk) or Adam Crawford (a.r.crawford @ lboro.ac.uk) providing details of how you intend to use the\u00a0application.\u00a0As the number of users is limited, we will\u00a0prioritise the allocation\u00a0of\u00a0licences\u00a0where there is evidence that:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; You will be creating materials to support distance learning AND \/OR<br \/>\n&#8211; You&#8217;ve already used Camtasia or a similar product such as Captivate AND \/OR<br \/>\n&#8211; You have a track record of providing extensive materials in your Learn modules.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, we&#8217;d like to see the licences being used!!<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;d like to know more about Camtasia, see the previous post at: <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.lboro.ac.uk\/elearning\/?p=95\">https:\/\/blog.lboro.ac.uk\/elearning\/?p=95<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We will be offering regular scheduled Staff Development sessions on the use of Camtasia over the coming year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The University now has a 100-user volume licence for Camtasia Studio 7, the screen recording application.
