{"id":409,"date":"2013-02-15T10:23:46","date_gmt":"2013-02-15T10:23:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/copyright.lboro.ac.uk\/teachingandlearning\/?p=409"},"modified":"2013-02-15T10:23:46","modified_gmt":"2013-02-15T10:23:46","slug":"how-do-students-find-out-about-the-nss","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.lboro.ac.uk\/teaching-learning\/2013\/02\/15\/how-do-students-find-out-about-the-nss\/","title":{"rendered":"How do students find out about the NSS?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The National Student Survey (NSS) questionnaire includes an optional question for respondents completing the survey online, asking how they found out about the NSS.<\/p>\n<p>Of those students who responded to the question in 2012:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>42% said that they were told about the survey by a lecturer\/member of staff<\/li>\n<li>35% had followed a link forwarded to them in an email (Ipsos MORI\u2019s)<\/li>\n<li>28% had followed a link from their institution\u2019s home page or portal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This highlights the importance of staff directly encouraging finalists to take part.<\/p>\n<p>The Students\u2019 Union are also happy to come along and do lecture shouts to encourage students to take part.
