{"id":68,"date":"2012-03-26T15:19:30","date_gmt":"2012-03-26T15:19:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/copyright.lboro.ac.uk\/teachingandlearning\/?p=68"},"modified":"2012-03-26T15:19:30","modified_gmt":"2012-03-26T15:19:30","slug":"peer-support-directory-new-online-resource","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.lboro.ac.uk\/teaching-learning\/2012\/03\/26\/peer-support-directory-new-online-resource\/","title":{"rendered":"Peer Support Directory \u2013 new online resource"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.lboro.ac.uk\/teachingandlearning\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/peer_sup_dir.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-69\" title=\"peer_sup_dir\" alt=\"Peer Support directory\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.lboro.ac.uk\/teachingandlearning\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/peer_sup_dir-122x300.jpg\" width=\"122\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>In looking to support a variety of peer support initiatives which have been taking place across campus in recent years, the <a title=\"Teaching Centre website\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lboro.ac.uk\/service\/teachingcentre\" target=\"_blank\">Teaching Centre<\/a> is in the process of creating a new online resource to support staff and students.<\/p>\n<p>Called a <strong>Peer Support Directory<\/strong>, it promotes the idea that students are particularly well positioned to support other students, while themselves gaining invaluable experience which can contribute towards their employability.<\/p>\n<p>A beta version of this resource is currently available at <a title=\"Peer support directory\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lboro.ac.uk\/service\/teachingcentre\/info\/Lee_dev\/psd.html\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.lboro.ac.uk\/service\/teachingcentre\/info\/Lee_dev\/psd.html<\/a> and will soon become available on the Teaching Centre\u2019s revamped website.
