It aims to use this knowledge to raise the profile of drawing and drawing research.<\/p>\n<h3>DRN is\u2026<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>An international community of researchers \/ artists \/ designers \/ educators<\/li>\n<li>A place where people can engage in debate about all aspects of drawing practice (theory, philosophy, education, methodology)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>DRN does\u2026<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Moderates an email based forum on drawing research (DRAWING-RESEARCH@JISCMAIL.AC.UK)<\/li>\n<li>Hosts a blog for DRN members to publish events, concepts, perspectives and debates on drawing research<\/li>\n<li>Facilitates and coordinates conferences, symposia and seminars on all aspects of drawing and visualisation together with collaborating host institutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Members of the DRN community are welcome to submit posts to the DRN blog <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.lboro.ac.uk\/tracey\/submit\/\">HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Joining the DRN email forum<\/h2>\n<p>The homepage for this can be found at\u00a0<a title=\"blocked::http:\/\/www.jiscmail.ac.uk\/lists\/drawing-research.html http:\/\/www.jiscmail.ac.uk\/lists\/drawing-research.html\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jiscmail.ac.uk\/lists\/drawing-research.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/www.jiscmail.ac.uk\/lists\/drawing-research.html<\/a>. We aim to stimulate, host and publish diverse perspectives on drawing and visualisation to \/ for a community of researchers, practitioners, educators and students. We advocate the value of drawing and visualisation in professional and educational contexts.
