Two half day events to be held on November 28th and December 5th
This event will provide the opportunity to:
- Listen to professional psychologists talk about their specialist field and entry routes
- Expand your knowledge on the value of work experience and opportunities
- Ask questions to a panel of psychology trainees and research assistants about their experiences aiming for a psychology career
- Gain insight into a wider range of career open to students interested in psychology
Venue: B1.11 Lecture Theatre in Brockington Extension Building
Dates: 28th November and 5th December 1.30 pm – 3.30pm

3.15 – 3.30pm : Questions/ Answers / Closure
December 5th:
1.30 – 2.00: Carolyn McBride Careers Adviser – Skills development/ Importance of Work Experience and Networking / CVs for Psychologists
2.00 – 2.30 Mustafa Sarkar – Trainee Sports Psychologist – “Pursuing a career in sport psychology”
2.30 – 3.30: How to progress with your career plans. A panel question and answer session
