Park High School offers a year-long induction programme for Learning Assistants as part of a professional development programme in Special Educational Needs. This includes:
What SEN means, inclusion, anger management, self-esteem, mentoring, behaviour management in the classroom, EAL, differentiation, dyslexia, ADHD and more
Why not come along to an Open Afternoon on Friday 7 June at 2.00 – 3.00pm and meet the Learning Assistants and some students.
A large number of our LAs have gone on to PGCE, Teach First, GTP and Schools Direct and come back to us as teachers.
