It offers a unique insight into the Oil and Gas industry that you’ll struggle to find elsewhere, with the potential to secure a place on our summer internship programme, undergraduate work placement or a graduate position the following year in our Aberdeen office.
Our Oil & Gas Talent Academy is a three-day residential course designed to help develop your overall business awareness in the oil, gas and energy sectors, as well as giving you an opportunity to get a taste of what it’s like to work at PwC.
The Talent Academy is open to:
All undergraduate university students looking for a career in our Aberdeen office.
What you’ll need:
- At least a 300 UCAS tariff or equivalent
- Be on course for a 2:1 in any degree subject.
What you’ll gain
You’ll benefit from a demanding but rewarding course of learning and the unique opportunity to network with our clients, and interact with our oil, gas and energy specialists. There will also be a selection of assessed activities across the three days to enable us to potentially fast track you through to a place on a summer internship, undergraduate work placement, or a graduate position the following year in our Aberdeen office.
What to expect
A mix of skills sessions and business awareness workshops that will help you build on your existing skills and knowledge with the workplace firmly in mind and we’ll have some fun along the way with an interactive evening activity planned and the chance to dine with our Oil and Gas expert Partners.
- A more detailed overview of the world of professional services in the oil, gas and energy sectors, providing you the opportunity to learn more about what we do, as well as providing a fantastic opportunity to meet and interact with our client and our people from a range of different levels.
- Assessment exercises and a business project will culminate with a presentation to partners on the last day, when we aim to have equipped you with skills that are valuable in all markets.
