Find out how to become a secondary school teacher
Your final year is a busy one and you will be thinking about your future career and how you are going to use that hard-earned degree.
Have you thought about training to be a PHYSICS TEACHER IN A SECONDARY SCHOOL? You were probably inspired by some of your teachers in school and it was that inspiration which got you where you are today.
There is a MASSIVE SHORTAGE OF GOOD PHYSICS TEACHERS …………… so much so that the government will pay you a TAX FREE BURSARY OF UP TO £20,000 during your training year. This also means that there are many opportunities for people who are qualified physics teachers.

Unilever talk and networking lunch
Unilever (No. 1 in the UK in the Hay Group Best Companies for Leadership) is a diverse and exciting organisation. Innovative, pioneering and environmentally conscious we have lots of career opportunities for female Engineering and Business Graduates.
We have a big vision; to double the size of the company while halving our environmental impact. If you would like to work for an organisation that is offering graduates a competitive package, along with real opportunities to succeed, then come and hear Sarah Greenfield, Supply Chain Director, talk about her experience within Unilever.
It’s an opportunity to hear her views on leadership, Unilever’s vision, and the career opportunities for female graduates. This will be followed by a networking lunch with Sarah and current graduate trainees. We look forward to meeting you on the 13th of February. (@ 1.00 pm in room D.1.09, James France Building)
