The Year in Industry (YINI), part of the Engineering Development Trust, is a national educational charity with over a quarter of a century’s experience in organising paid degree relevant industrial and sandwich work placements.
The YINI scheme offers students a unique resource in their search for paid degree relevant work experience. Students are matched with companies on the basis of their degree discipline, ranging from engineering, science and computing disciplines through to business subjects such as, management, marketing, logistics etc. YINI also provides a mentoring service to students during their placement year and the chance to take part in free management training.
We work with high profile companies across the UK and we are currently taking students applications for placements commencing in July, August and September 2014.
We are holding our annual Recruitment Event at Derby Pride Park Stadium on 24 February 2014. Over 30 companies will be interviewing for placements. Students must be registered with us to be considered for this as attendance is by invitation only.
