If you are comfortable with editing code, once you are familiar with Make History you should find it straightforward to open the XML file it creates for each timeline and edit this directly. You may find this quicker if all you need to do is correct a typo.
You can open the XML files in any text editor (Wordpad etc).
This is only recommended for advanced users!
