Technical requirements

  1. The MakeHistory authoring tool is currently Windows only (XP, Vista or 7).  It runs as a desktop application but does not require installation.
  2. The authoring tool does require the Adobe Air ‘runtime’ (related to the Flash player) which you can download from http://get.adobe.com/air/ .
  3. The Air runtime is not required to view timelines created with MakeHistory, only the Flash player. This is already installed on most PCs and Macs. You can download this from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ .
