About the day

Held at our flagship More London office, on 2 April 2013, and home to our Consulting practice, you’ll spend the day learning about the heart of our Consulting practice, and you’ll gain an in-depth insight into our Consulting business. There will also be stages throughout the day where you’ll be assessed, as part of our recruitment process. In the evening you’ll be invited to a champagne and canapés networking reception at our Social Enterprise restaurant ‘The Brigade’. Here you’ll have further opportunities to chat to our people and learn the role they play in making our Consulting practice iconic.

What you’ll need

  • Open to final year students, interested in starting their career in Consulting
  • You’ll need at least a 340 UCAS tariff * (A, A, B at A level or equivalent, and excluding General Studies)
  • You also need to be on course for a 2.1, or above
  • We welcome applications from all degree subjects

New online creative and literary platform, The Student Wordsmith, has launched a competition giving illustrators, designers and artists the opportunity to design promotional materials – which may also lead to future commissions. The submission deadline is Monday 25 February, 5.00pm.

Rate My Placement has helped thousands of UK students boost their employability, Onesixeight: fitness is making people healthier and happier. What will you do?  Since its launch in 2002, our Business Plan Competition has received over 550 applications and has presented more than 60 cash prizes to student and graduate businesses. It’s a great way to kick-start your business, receive additional business advice and support, gain experience of pitching to potential investors and gain publicity and recognition.

The Writer’s Two Day Word Experience

Hello, we’re The Writer (thewriter.com), the country’s biggest language consultancy.

We’re looking for second-year undergraduates to come to our two-day Word Experience on 11th and 12th April 2013.

We’ll show you how you can make a career out of writing for business. By giving you plenty of writing exercises, linguistic brainstorms and home-made pecha kuchas* to get your teeth into. We might even get you working with us on a live project.

Model United Nations Conference 2013 – Loughborough University

February 22nd-24th 2013 Loughborough University Model United Nations Society will be hosting a national conference where you will get the opportunity to represent a country and debate some of the most topical global issues. After the success of last year’s conference we are keen to hold LufbraMUN 2013 on an even bigger and better scale. The Conference will attract students from across the UK, but we are also keen to have as many Loughborough students in attendance.
