As I’m writing this blog, I’ve just realised that my final ever half-term holiday as a student is over and I’m becoming more and more nostalgic every time I write!
On January 9th 2018, I became an uncle to a beautiful baby girl, Heba! She was born during the peak assessment period which meant I wasn’t at home for the first month, but after that, I went to and from Birmingham every weekend just to see her.
Happy New Year to you all! To celebrate the new year, a friend from the US came to visit. We first met during my trip to Thailand in June, where we only had a few hours together. Little did we know that we’d be reunited so soon.
What a year it has been! So many adventures and lifelong memories.
In order to achieve your “personal best”, it’s so important to set yourself regular goals of things you want to achieve.
A month later and I think I’ve only just started to readjust to the British time after my study-exchange in Australia! At the airport, my family were in tears, the same as when I left.
And just like that, the six greatest months of my life are over, my study-exchange in Sydney has come to an end.
As I am writing this blog, I am sat at the Surfer’s Paradise beach at the Gold in Australia. I am reminiscing on the whole of my study exchange experience so far.
