Development Workshop and Recruitment Fair 2014 in China

The British Council in China will run a series of Career Development workshops from 08 to 16 March 2014 across mainland China. This year we are working in partnership with Zhaopin.com to invite well known businesses to take part in our events. By participating, Chinese students will be able to better understand the job market in China, as well as seek job opportunities and better guidance on long-term career planning. Participants will also have the chance to interact with business representatives who will be able to offer career development advice and information on their own job opportunities.

Student Programming Contest – Morgan Stanley

This February, Morgan Stanley’s Technology Division is launching the third Student Programming Contest and this season the contest has gone global.

CRCC Asia – British Council Disability Scholarship Program 2014

CRCC Asia is delighted to be able to offer 2 Scholarships for an internship with the British Council Beijing and Shanghai. The scholarships are designed specifically for students with a disability, bringing the experience to those who may not previously have had an opportunity to live and work in China.

The successful applicants will undertake a business placement at the British Council, in Beijing and Shanghai between May and November 2014. The interns will live in the centre of each city and work for one month, gaining transferable business skills and hands-on experience whilst working in an international setting.

The successful applicants will be awarded a scholarship based on their overall application, their response to three short essay questions and an academic reference. Applications close on Friday 7th February 2014.
