London event for launch of the Teach First Leadership Development Programme 2015

This event will include a performance from young musicians from the National Orchestra and the chance to network with Teach First Ambassadors to find out about their experiences in the classroom. There will be a short presentation on why there is a huge need for passionate and inspiring teachers in the UK, as well as information on how we can help you to launch your career. Finally, we also have an exciting panel of ambassadors and pupils who will be sharing inspirational stories from the classroom.

Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi (BTMU) and Mitsubishi UFJ Securities (MUS) are part of the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, the second largest financial group in the world.

Together they are holding an insight day for 1st and 2nd year female students with an interest in working in corporate or investment banking. All degree disciplines are accepted and all the event attendees will be fast-tracked to the first stage of the selection process in the autumn.

The event takes place in Central London on Tuesday, 15th July 2014. Women in Tech Training Day – Google

‘Women in Tech Training Day’ has been designed to offer female students in technology the chance to network and share stories, improve key skills as well as learn about Google opportunities. This event will be a great opportunity for students who are looking for advice on how to prepare a CV as well as tips on what to expect from a technical interview. The day will also bring the chance to hear from Google engineers about their experience. We aim to bring together students with similar interests and help excite and prepare you for the opportunities awaiting in the tech world.

Global Business Challenge 2014 UK final

The CIMA Global Business Challenge is an international business competition for undergraduates around the world, designed to bring out the best in the young business leaders of tomorrow.

You are invited to attend this full day event at which you will see the top four teams from UK universities compete to win the UK final. The winners will go on to attend the global final in India in August 2014.

Each team will present a business case with questions from a judging panel of influential business leaders. There will also be presentations from CIMA representatives, our sponsors, and a graduate panel discussion providing a first-hand insight into the life of a graduate trainee.

National Women in Engineering day

Eaton is proud to take part to the National Women Engineering Day on the 23rd of June 2014. This date is dedicated to raising the profile and celebrating the achievements of women in Engineering.

During this event, Eaton will organise in two main locations (Docaster and Titchfield), several onsite activities such as seminars, product workshops as well as time to learn about career opportunities within Eaton. This will be a great opportunity to meet with Eaton female leaders as well as a chance to network with Eaton professionals! For those selected to attend, Eaton will cover all travel costs.
