The CIMA Global Business Challenge 2013 has now started, will your university be represented?
The CIMA global business challenge is an international business competition designed to bring out the best in the young business leaders of tomorrow. This is a great opportunity for students around the world to showcase their talent in business management.
The competition is organised in partnership with Barclays, who share our vision of developing and nurturing young talent around the world. The competition has evolved from eight participating regions around the world in 2009 to 25 regions for the 2013 competition, demonstrating the success and global reach of the challenge.
Accelerate Your Career – NOW OPEN FOR SECOND YEARS
Places are now available on Accelerate Your Career, an exciting and intensive course led by key employers. You will work in teams with leading recruiters on a number of interactive skills sessions and gain practical experience of interviews and assessment centres. The first two dates are 17 October and 7 November starting at 1.30pm.
The first day will include sessions on CVs, Commercial Awareness, Selling Your at Interviews and a Networking event with employers.

New Advice Services Launched
We are launching two great new services – CV Top Tips every Tuesday morning and Quick Advice sessions in Pilkington Library every Wednesday afternoon.
- Drop in to the Careers and Employability Centre on Tuesdays between 10am – 12pm to get top tips for your CV.
