Countdown to E-learning Showcase
Not long to go now until the annual Staff E-learning Showcase, at which this year we’ll also be welcoming a number of visitors from other institutions.
The full programme for the case-study presentations is now available at https://blog.lboro.ac.uk/elearning/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/ShowcaseFullProgramme.pdf . All the presentations will be captured using the ReVIEW system and made available online shortly after the event.
The event, to be held in the James France Exhibition Area and adjoining rooms, starts at 11am on Wednesday 12th January and closes at 3.30pm. The overarching theme of the event is:
“Making efficient and effective use of learning technologies: enhancing the student learning experience without increasing the academic’s workload.”
In addition to the 10 case-study presentations in CC013, there will be over 15 stands and poster presentations, and a rolling ‘Experience Elluminate’ session in CC029a (under the mezzanine). You’ll have the opportunity to see the new Student Portal and the new Reading List system among other demonstrations.
And if that’s not enough to entice you along, there’ll be a buffet lunch between 12.30 – 1.30.
Hope to see you there!
