HEA travel grants

Colleagues may not be aware that the Higher Education Academy offers travel grants to attend teaching and learning events. A number of staff and students across campus have made successful applications for these small travel grants in the past, so this posting is to draw you attention to some changes to the criteria for 2012-13. There are three streams:

1. students attending teaching and learning events (these are primarily aimed at activities which see ‘students as partners’);
2. staff attending dissemination events to present papers on teaching and learning practice; and
3. staff crossing national borders within the United Kingdom to attend teaching and learning events (i.e. to Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales for Loughborough applicants).
