How do students find out about the NSS?
The National Student Survey (NSS) questionnaire includes an optional question for respondents completing the survey online, asking how they found out about the NSS.
Of those students who responded to the question in 2012:
- 42% said that they were told about the survey by a lecturer/member of staff
- 35% had followed a link forwarded to them in an email (Ipsos MORI’s)
- 28% had followed a link from their institution’s home page or portal.
This highlights the importance of staff directly encouraging finalists to take part.
The Students’ Union are also happy to come along and do lecture shouts to encourage students to take part. If you would like to take up this offer please contact the VP Education, Lazar Zindovic, direct at: vpeducation@lufbra.net
