National Teaching Fellowship Scheme 2014: Applications invited

Does your work in teaching or support for learners enhance and transform the student learning experience? Could you become a National Teaching Fellow?
The National Teaching Fellowship Scheme (NTFS), administered by the Higher Education Academy, recognises and rewards excellent learning and teaching. Up to 55 awards of £10,000 are made to recognise individual excellence and to further professional development in teaching and learning or aspects of pedagogy.
A one-off workshop for those interested in applying in the next round, or in the future, will be led by our new Head of Academic Practice on Wednesday 16th October, 12noon – 1.30pm. Participants will need to do some preparation in advance of the workshop. The deadline for submissions to the HEA is Tuesday 14th January 2014.
Please email Diane Beale in the Teaching Centre if you are interested in applying and attending the workshop.
