Nicky Conway works in the Student Voice office in the Students’ Union and has been responsible for co-ordinating the new Programme Rep Hub module on Learn. She comments: “The new module has been developed as an interactive one stop-shop for all of the support, resources and opportunities that Programme Reps need to be effective in their role. We have been hoping to make the most of the Learn environment for some time and are excited that we have now been able to launch this new development. The site went live in mid-November and already Programme Reps have been making the most of the resources and activities available to them which include forums, a skills audit quiz, training materials and how-to guides. We have been able to adapt the functions of the Learn site to meet our needs and create an engaging resource for students. We plan to continue this work to develop the site further to include more interactive quizzes and increase the media content of the site.”

With over 500 Programme Reps and Presidents, the value of a central online resource to support them is clear.
