Staff Development sessions 10/11

We’re putting the finishing touches to the programme of central scheduled staff development sessions around e-learning, e-assessment and other learning technologies for the 2010/11 academic year. The programme is greatly expanded for this year and includes the following:

•Introduction to Learn   •Resources in Learn   •Assessments in Learn   •Collaboration in Learn   •Using Audio in Learn   •Using Images in Learn   •Using Video in Learn   •Copyright and Learn   •Introduction to Questionmark Perception   •Good Question Design   •Item Analysis   •Introduction to WebPA   •Using the Turning Point electronic voting system   •Camtasia for screen recording   •Introduction to Elluminate web conferencing   •Lecture capture with ReVIEW   •E-Inform   •E-Assess   •E-Collaborate   •E-Innovate   •E-learning Drop-In Clinic

These sessions will be available for all academic and academic-related staff to book via the Staff Development booking system. However, we are also happy to run additional sessions for specific departments, Faculties or support services on demand.

Most of the above will be delivered as face-to-face sessions but we will also be extending our use of web conferencing as a delivery mode.
