Over the Summer, we secured funding for two lecture capture projects…
- Picture this – creating resources to support the engagement of campus-based students. This project is supported by the Alumni fund
- Through the glass darkly – creating resources to support the engagement of distance learning students. This project is supported by Echo 360
In both cases, the aim is to edit captured lectures to create learning objects for students. These are intended to provide a basis – or free up time in lectures – for activities engaging students in their content.
These projects explore another dimension of lecture capture. This is intended to build on all the hard work implementing ReView of Teaching Support, IT Services, and Charles & the e-Learning Team (who supported the bids). If you want to find out more, we’d be happy to discuss it further…
